Barrington, RI – FuelBelt athletes dominated Ironman Coeur D’Alene this weekend and shattered numerous records along the way.
Overall winner Craig Alexander, made a huge come back this weekend and even surprised himself, saying “I pulled a rabbit out of the hat today.” Alexander has withdrawn from several races this year due to an ongoing viral chest infection. Alexander not only won, but he did so in an impressive fashion; setting a new run course record of 2:46 as well as the overall course record.
On the women’s side, Julie Dibens took the win and also set two new records, on the bike and the overall course record for women. Behind Dibens was Cait Snow who set a remarkable course run record of 3:03. All three athletes have shown remarkable talent and will surely be major threats at the big showdown in Kona this October.
Once again, FuelBelt athletes have proven that proper hydration is a key to success. To learn more about FuelBelt’s collection of over 120 innovative products and impressive professional athlete roster, visit FuelBelt.com.
